From Brera's Milan to the Liguria of olive trees
Born in Milan in 1898, Silvia Zucchinetti trained at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. She married the architect and designer Gino Maggioni, with whom she shared her Milanese years between decorative arts and furniture design. In 1941 the couple moved to Diano Marina, in Liguria, where Silvia rediscovered and deepened her painting until the final years of her life, exhibiting in numerous solo shows in Italy and abroad.
